The Getaway Place
It seems like over the last few weeks all of our Southern Land Advisors discussions with friends and clients seem to revolve around “ The Getaway Place”. Our clients and prospects keep using the words Safety, Security, Sustainability and Serenity. Do you remember studying Maslow Hierarchy of needs? Here they are again.
Take a look at this familiar chart of Maslow’s findings:
Does buying land reach the subconscious level of meeting those basic needs of shelter, food and safety?
As a humanist, Maslow believed that all people have a born need to be self-actualized; or, to be all they can be. In order to reach our highest goal, the basic needs of food, safety, love, and self esteem must be realized first. Maslow believed these needs are similar to instincts and play a major role in our human behavior.
“The Getaway Place” is different for all of us depending on our backgrounds. Perhaps Safety, Security, Serenity and sustainability are high on your list.
Perhaps land ownership is deep within each of us at our core. Perhaps land fills many of those basic needs. When you’re ready to look for your perfect “Getaway Place” give us a call and we will guide you through the process.
